Black out & loss of power in high risk area.
Corrective Action/ Lessons to be learnt:
Manual sounding taken, purifier started, low section opened resumed the voyage
Do not trust the remote level gauge manual sounding to be taken at least once a day
Duty Engineers to be more vigilant
Ship was transiting Bad El Mandeb high risk area then there was a loss of power because service tank level going below the high suction, Remote level gauge was stuck in high position, so sounding was not taken by the duty engineer.
