Advanced Fire Fighting [AFF]

  • Fire Prevention and Basic Fire Fighting (FPFF) course must have been completed.
  • Sea time of atleast 6 months.
  • Medical fitness certificate in ILO format. INDOS Number is Mandatory

In compliance with the State directives and as per DGS Order 17 of 2021, the Certificate Validity will be 18 months

The candidates can book and undergo the Virtual course ( Part A) and later undergo Part- B part of certification (Upgrading their certificate from 18 months to 5 years ), once the Practicals are completed from the same or different MTI and as per directives from DGS/ State Govt

Kindly note that the course fees paid are only for the Virtual Class ( Part A), and for your practicals, separate fees would be charged (3000/-) 

The practicals would have to be completed within 9 months of issuance of circular and subject to govt. order

Declaration

I confirm that I am in possession of the required hardware and software and have the connectivity of the required bandwidth and speed as stated in para 7.5 of DGS Training Circular 01 of 2020 dated 07.02.2020.

I further confirm that I have read and complied with the system requirements mentioned in point 10 of the SOP for Exit Exam in the DGS Order 20 of 2020 dated 03.08.2020

I confirm that my seafarer profile is fully updated, and my photo and signature in the profile are visible and meet DGS Guidelines.

  • CDC with proof of sea service,
  • FPFF Certificate,
  • Valid Medical fitness certificate(DG Approved),
  • As per DGS Order 20 of 2020, the Successful Completion of E-Learning Modules through the DGS website is mandatory to get Digital Certificate for all DG-approved Courses. 

MEDICAL FIRST AID [MFA]

  • Elementary First Aid (EFA) course must have been completed.
  • Must having 6 months sea service with approved Pre-sea Training.

In compliance with the State directives and as per DGS Order 17 of 2021, the Certificate Validity will be 18 months

Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boat other than Fast Rescue Boat [PSCRB]

  • Officers, Cadets and Ratings having 12 months sea service (or) 6 months sea service with approved Pre-sea Training. (Proof of sea service required).
  • Basic course Personal Survival Techniques (PST) must be completed
  • Medical fitness certificate in ILO format.
