For Motor/Steam :
36Months as Engineer officer on watch which shall include 12Months as holder of COC as MEO Class II
And
36Months shall be reduced to 24Months, if 12Months served as 2nd Engineer officer for Steam/Motor
The Propelling time must be at least two thirds of the corresponding sea service period.
For Combine (Motor and Steam) :
40Months (20 Months Motor + 20Months steam) which shall include not less than 12 months as holder of COC as MEO Class II combined (Steam and Motor)
And
40Months shall be reduced to 36Months (18Months motor + 18months Steam), if 12 months served as 2nd Engineer officer for Steam/Motor
The Propelling time must be at least two thirds of the corresponding sea service period
Non-Indian Participants need to hold a Student Visa to India to undergo the course.
If the sea service & the certificate details are updated on the Seafarer Profile, then the seafarer profile can be submitted

Lunch can be purchased at an additional cost and is subject to availability.
Batch will be tentative subject to meeting minimum participants of at least 10 at Vizag Campus
Dress Code : Collarless T.Shirts, Shorts, Sandals, Bathroom slippers are not permitted for Physical Classes
D. G. Shipping mandates a minimum batch strength of 25%. In the event that the number of participants in the course reduces due to withdrawals, causing the batch strength to fall below 25% of the batch capacity, the course would be postponed without any additional charges.
