Eligibility

• Holders of Second Mates FG CoC under STCW 1995 for Upgradation to STCW 2010.
• Candidates appearing for Second Mates FG CoC following the existing certification scheme under STCW 1995. -Nautical stream graduate candidates appearing for Second Mates FG CoC following the existing certification scheme under STCW 1995.
• Candidates who have undergone Second Mates function course after 15th Dec 2010 under the revised syllabus are exempted from attending this course.
• This course also includes RMFA, RSSO and PSSR course.
• ONLY VALID INDIAN COC.
• Biometric Seafarers Identity Document (BSID) is mandatory for all the D.G.Shipping Approved Courses from 1st April 2023. Students without BSID will not be permitted for the course.
• Non-Indian Participants need to hold a Student Visa to India to undergo the course.

D. G. Shipping mandates a minimum batch strength of 25%. In the event that the number of participants in the course reduces due to withdrawals, causing the batch strength to fall below 25% of the batch capacity, the course would be postponed without any additional charges.
