Work commenced after reporting to duty officer and switching off Radar at around 11 O'clock in the morning. During repair work Electric Officer on his daily chores saw the people working on mast and came to help. At 12 O'clock. 2/E who was working with the 3/E and E/E suddenly noticed the scanner start t rotate.
Same time he shouted at E/E and he ducked , the scanner scraping his head.
It was later found that the duty officer hadn't handed over properly to the reliever nor kept any sign board on the Radar saying men at work, nor the fuse removed as a precautionary measure.
